Mi Sueno Agate Slabs

Rancho Agua Nueva is in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, about fifty kilometers north of Ciudad Chihuahua. In 1997 I went with Eugene Mueller of The Gem Shop on a mining expedition in Mexico to the vein agate deposit on the claim he named ‘Mi Sueno’. It was obvious that the deposit had never been mined with modern equipment and he mined with a Cat 320 excavator with marvelous results. I spent the next three summers with Gene at Rancho Agua Nueva. The last two mining seasons were at a  nodular agate deposit known as the ‘Agua Nueva’ claim. These slabs are vein agate from the ‘Mi Sueno’ claim.
