Coyamito Agate Specimens

Rancho Coyamito in the state of Chihuahua, northern Mexico, is located just six kilometers to the west of Rancho Agua Nueva. The agates there are the most colorful, with intense shades of orange, purple, red, yellow and pink. The Rancho Coyamito is also famous for magnificent agate psuedomorphs after aragonite. The last person to obtain great material was Dave Hignett who discontinued his connection with the Carillos, owners of the ranch, due to the exhaustion of the deposits.
